The Namo Drone Didi Scheme is an initiative under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM). It aims to equip 15,000 women SHGs with drones to be used in agriculture for spraying fertilizers, pesticides, and crop monitoring. This not only helps in improving farming practices but also opens up entrepreneurial avenues for women in rural India. A budget of ₹1,261 crore has been allocated to make this a reality.
